Implemented at Shonan Kamakura General Hospital in Kanagawa Prefecture through the 'Sagami Robot Industry Special Zone' initiative, the robot was adopted for regular service use following a successful trial. It can attach to existing beds and be switched to manual control as needed, allowing safe and smooth patient transfers even in narrow corridors. This device is expected to ease the burden on medical staff managing patient care with limited personnel. (Apr. 2024)
