See moreIn the Japanese Experiment Module (JEM) of the International Space Station (ISS), the spherical, autonomous flying camera robot "Int-Ball2" is helping astronauts with their work. It is released from a charging port under remote control from the ground, and while moving around the ISS, it takes photos and videos and transmits them to the ground in real time. When the battery level gets low, it automatically returns to the docking station. As a partner supporting the astronauts' work, it plays the role of the "eyes" that take and record images inside the spacecraft. (Mar. 2025)
