See more“Ropot” was in an experiment targeting 25 first-year primary school students in Wako city, Saitama. This experiment aimed to see if the robot could be integrated into students’ life cycles, letting them have a safer way between home and school. The little robot was placed on their shoulders and was responsible for alerting them with vibrations when they could be in danger when crossing streets. As a result, the kids enjoyed the rich facial expressions and the well-designed body. Hopefully, the project will lead to a safer environment where no children are involved in traffic accidents.(Dec 2020)
