See moreAt the cafeteria of TIS Co., Ltd. in Toyosu, TOKYO, "DINERBOT T8" is carrying food and drinks. Its compact body and lovely face make the robot attractive and show its excellent capability to pass through a narrow aisle. It automatically adjusts its speed according to the environment and travels, and its high-quality suspension absorbs impacts, so it can safely carry drinks and other liquids. The integration with TIS's multi-robot platform (RoboticBase®) enables robots not only to be dispatched to tables on call but also to connect to the infrastructure of the building where the robots are installed, which allows them to collaborate with elevators or building information systems detecting human flow. By delegating some of the delivery tasks previously performed by humans to robots, it is expected to reduce the workload and enhance customer service. (May 2023)
