The AI-powered mobile communication robot, RoBoHoN, teamed up with a tablet displaying maps and visual information, proficient in handling four languages (English, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese). This initiative was part of a joint trial for an AI guidance system aimed at aiding foreign travelers. While our visit observed a train maintenance staff was curiously engaging with the robot, the robotic information system has the potential to reduce psychological barriers for travelers. (June 2019)
