The Port has around 100km of roads, 5km of wharf space, warehouses, and numerous areas requiring nighttime cleaning, currently done by human-driven machines. The Authority aims to assesses its performance in cleaning vacant lots, back roads, and warehouses, and to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of the machine. The robot can even collect gravel, stone, sand, and salt materials. It can access complex areas such as berths by the water and operate efficiently inside warehouses, given its all-electric nature. It could help enhance port maintenance more efficiently. (May 2023)
