See moreAt the parking lot of an outlet mall in suburban Tokyo, the testing of autonomous parking robots, Stan. Stan aims to be used in autonomous valet parking systems that free the customers from the stress of parking. However, the test was rather demonstrative than validation of service application, with moving a car from one place to another back and forth within a closed area. It takes about 4 minutes to transport a car 20 meters apart. Looking forward to seeing how the system could work in completed service flow with real customers. (Jun 2022)
