See moreAn autonomous agricultural robot sprays agrochemicals over the field of Japanese Leek in Fukaya city. By correcting GPS positioning with image recognition, the robot can achieve precise autonomous driving even on bumpy and slippery soil. The labor of spraying crops is physically exhausting for farmers, so the robot reduces the process by 2 hours while protecting humans from the inhalation of chemicals. Thus, this project is improving productivity, and cost efficiency, and protecting human labor in the farming industry. (Feb 2022)
