See moreA local start-up has been testing its robotic beehives in Beit Haemek, Israel. The robot, the size of a 12-square-meter container, acts as both medic and guardian, automatically dispensing nutrition, water, and medication through a mechanical structure that covers each honeycomb frame. The well-maintained bees enter and exit through multiple narrow slots in the robotic hive. Developed in response to the global food supply threat caused by the decline of bee colonies. This robot tackles these problems with monitoring technologies 24/7, enabling pollination capacity and honey production. (Sep 2021)
