See moreAn British online supermarket company, Ocado has implemented a smart kitchen robot in its headquarter’s cafeteria. The system, called Semblr, is composed of KR AGILUS as its main operator. After receiving food orders from the company employees via App, the robotic arm in the middle of the kiosk quickly prepares a rice-based dish. Once the order is ready, they receive a notification on the robot's app to pick up their orders. Only while busy lunch hours, single human staff supports the operation, like checking the dish quality, handing over correct dishes to customers, or replenishing ingredients. The goal is to decrease the time spent by employees waiting in the cafeteria lines and avoid direct contact with other people as a sanitary measurement. (Sep 2021)
